Place an order

Choose a packet and tell us what you want written on it. Our sister writes and burns it by hand at the shop in Hong Kong.

Four things worth knowing first

The form

Choose one

One to twenty. If you are doing this on behalf of several relatives at once, add them here.

This is what gets written on the packet. Chinese is the most common and the safest choice — but a romanised spelling or an English name works too. What matters is that the person you are writing to would know it was meant for them.
⚠️ We burn in batches, so the full name you type here may appear in the batch photograph other customers receive. If you would rather it did not, write a form of address instead — "my late father", or a collective family form. You still get both photographs; they simply carry no full name. Section 7 of our privacy policy explains this in full.

How they relate to you — grandmother, father, and so on. Leave it blank if you are unsure; we can still do it.
This field only takes Gregorian dates. If your family keeps the anniversary by the lunar calendar, tell us the lunar date by WhatsApp or email after ordering and we will work it out by hand.
⚠️ We cannot send yearly reminders yet, so please do not rely on this field to remind you.

We need something to put at the top of our reply, and this is also the name written on the packet as the sender — on all four kinds. Chinese is best, English is fine: surname, given name, English name, whatever you actually go by.
On dates of birth: only the 冤親債主 packet asks for one, because that is the only packet with a date written on it. The other three never ask and never store one.

Used only to reply to you and to send the photographs. Never sold, never added to a mailing list.

Only so we do not write back at three in the morning your time. That is the whole reason we ask.

Sending this form means you have read our privacy policy and terms of service — what we collect, what we use it for, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

How it runs from here

  1. Writing — our sister writes the name and your order number on the packet by hand, and photographs it.
  2. Fixing the day — we set the burning day around the date or festival you asked for, and tell you which day that is.
  3. Burning — in that day's batch along with other orders, generally one batch a day; the batch photograph is taken first.
  4. Proof — both photographs reach you within three working days of the burning.

The home page sets out the same chain in full: what we photograph, and what we do not.

Right now this is an enquiry, not a payment

  • We cannot read the prices at this moment — most likely a network problem — so this page is not showing any figures. We would rather show you nothing than a number we made up.
  • Send the form and we will email you the price and the dates we can actually manage.
  • Nothing is written or burned until you reply and confirm. Pressing “Send enquiry” does not charge you anything.
  • One thing to know before you ever pay: we do not give refunds. If you change your mind after paying, the money stays with the order and the burning is simply held over to a date you choose — but it does not come back to you.
  • If we get the name or the date wrong, that is different: we redo it free of charge. Both are set out in section 9 of the terms.

When it gets burned

All times above are Hong Kong time (UTC+8). Hong Kong has no daylight saving, so the gap to your own clock only moves when yours does.

What you actually receive

⚠️ Said before you order rather than after: we do not have a single real proof photograph yet, and image storage is not switched on. What follows describes a settled design, not a service already running. Our terms of service say the same thing.

What we collect

The details are in our terms of service and privacy policy. Both were completed on 6 September 2026: turnaround, what happens if we get it wrong, the no-refund position, how long data is kept, and how batch photographs are handled are each spelled out.
