About us
Who we are
Three generations, one thing. Our mother is a 神婆 — a spirit medium, the person a neighbourhood goes to when something needs speaking to. Our younger sister has run a paper offering shop in Hong Kong for over twenty years. One of us built this website.
What we do
We burn offering packets on your behalf. A packet is a paper bag, addressed like a parcel, filled with paper money and paper goods and then burned — burning is how it is sent. There are four kinds, and they differ by who they are addressed to, not by price: your own ancestors, anyone you may have wronged or owed, the wandering dead who have nobody, and a pet. Each one is described here.
You order online and tell us the names. The packets are written and burned at our sister’s shop — the work is not passed to a third party.
On an ordinary day an order is usually burned within about three days, longer around the festivals. The shop goes to burn once a day, between three and six in the afternoon, Hong Kong time (UTC+8). Which means your packet is burned together with other people’s.
The shop, and the burner
The five photographs below are real. They are not proof of your order — the photographs of your own packet are taken before it burns and go on your tracking page. These five are here for a simpler reason: so you can see that somebody is actually doing this.
What we hold ourselves to
- No fear. We will not tell you what happens if you skip this, and we will not use guilt to move you towards ordering.
- We burn in batches, and we say so. Your packet goes into the fire alongside other people’s. That sentence stays in plain sight.
- We do not stage it to look otherwise. The writing is done packet by packet; the burning is not. We will not photograph it to suggest the burner was opened for you alone.
- No refunds, but the order keeps. If you change your mind after paying we do not refund — the order waits instead, and is burned on a later date you choose (terms, section 9).
- No outcomes promised. Not luck, not health, not protection. This is a gesture, not a transaction with the dead.
How the whole thing runs
Every step from order to photographs, and which photograph proves what, is drawn out on the home page — we would rather explain it once, well, than twice.

If you want to start
There is no hurry. If you can do this with your own hands, that is better than having us do it — we have written a good deal on how.
